The Professor and the Madman (2019)

Math Teacher read the book.  He was intrigued that it was made into a movie.  It turned out they over-dramatized the whole story.  Math Teacher said everyone in the book was actually nice, decent human being.  Everyone was quite helpful and dedicated to their job.  Well, that didn't make a good movie, right?  So, there was quite a lot of shouting in the movie when it wasn't necessary at all.

But seriously, how fun could it be for two men deciding on words in a dictionary?  I mean, it was a great history to learn, but it was not a story of more than two hours.  This belonged on History channel, as a one-hour special, or as a segment with other short and interesting history tidbits.

The Librarians (2013 ~ 2018)

Enjoyable family entertaining.  No curse words; no sex scenes.  Barely any kissing.  The fight scenes were average.  The special effects were low budget.

Storylines were easy to follow.  Quite a few funny parts.

The Librarian: Quest for the Spear (2004), The Librarian: Return to King Solomon's Mines (2006), The Librarian: Curse of the Judas Chalice (2008)

Funny, goofy, low-budget special effects, but overall enjoyable TV movies.  They were that kind of movies I played them in the background, walked away to do chores, occasionally came back to check them out, then had some laughs.

Scorpion Season 1 (2014)

It was over the top ridiculous.  The producer Walter O'Brien seemed to have an ultra large ego.  Every episode started with the narration of him having 190+ IQ when Einstein had 160.

The plot was exaggerated.  The emotions were right out in the open.  Nothing was subtle about this TV show.
