The Librarian: Quest for the Spear (2004), The Librarian: Return to King Solomon's Mines (2006), The Librarian: Curse of the Judas Chalice (2008)

Funny, goofy, low-budget special effects, but overall enjoyable TV movies.  They were that kind of movies I played them in the background, walked away to do chores, occasionally came back to check them out, then had some laughs.

Vertigo (1958)

I had such a great time watching North by Northwest so I thought I'd give Vertigo a try.  Nope.  Not for me.

It started out slow and then remained slow.  The twist came at the last half hour of the movie.  I was getting the "meh" vibe.  It was still an interesting movie.  A story could be about unlikable characters because they represented life.  However, the murder motive was never explained.  The suicide came so sudden.  A side character was not necessary.

I'm at the point in my life that, on a Sunday night, I wanted to watch engaging, entertaining movie.  I don't want to watch a depressing movie.

Fletch (1985), Fletch Lives (1989)

This was in the same genre as North by Northwest (1959).  Don't believe what they said about "comedy, crime, mystery."  It was more of a suspense, but at no point that I felt the main character, Fletch, was in serious mortal danger.  It wasn't funny either.  It was more of a "guess whodunit" plot.  It did keep me guessing what was going to happen next.  ⭐⭐⭐

Fletch 2 was in the same vein as the first one.  There were many twists at the end so it was still very enjoyable.  I understood Chevy Chase's humor more in this one.  He referenced a lot of things that I did not know.  However, for the references that I did know, he talked way too fast; if I didn't catch it, then I totally missed it.  ⭐⭐⭐
