MEH!
Cons:
- They re-used the villain from the Ghostbusters (1984), from the big bad God's clothing and makeup, to the evil dogs, to the Gatekeeper and the Key Master, to the Gatekeeper's gold dress. Nothing creative. Also, Sigourney Weaver looked better in that gold dress.
- How did the little kids fit into the Ghostbusters' uniforms made for four grown adults?
- Half way through the movie, I finally realized Phoebe was a girl, not a boy. I just thought it was a millennial mother that wanted to be unique and special so she gave her son a girl name.
- Apparently all the ghost-busting equipments were very easy to operate and child-friendly.
- Marshmallow Fluffs were really cute.
- Character developments were good (Math Teacher's opinion; I didn't feel that way).
Ambivalent:
Egon was back! With or without his permission? I don't know about this one. Filmmakers could digitize any dead person now; the alive actors and actresses would be even more out of work.
