Over the top dramatic scenes, but that was what made the movie fun. No thinking, just enjoy the ride.
Surprisingly they kept very close to the historical facts of World War I.
The fight sequence with Rasputin was awesome. They incorporated traditional dance into the fights. It was surreal but also entertaining.
