The Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025)

I did not have high hope for this movie because everyone trashed the trailers, but I ended up watching it because I had nothing better to do on a Sunday afternoon.  Turned out, this was a good movie to watch on a lazy weekend.

This was about a family that happened to be superheroes, not the other way around.  They had family issues.  They loved each other so they tried to overcome those issues.  The plot was easy to follow because again, the story was about the family, not superhero abilities or super scary villains.

And their reaction to the villain was understandable.  They wanted to talk first.  Not just smash kill eliminate.  Even at the end, all they did was send the villain a million light years away, not complete anniliation.
