The Bride of Frankenstein (1935)
This was a comedy, especially the old maid’s acting. She was everywhere all at once. She screamed with her eyes wide-open and arms flailing. Hilarious! At the end when they finally made the bride, I thought “uh oh;” what if she didn’t like The Monster? The next second, she screamed at him and pushed him away. I laughed so much at this supposed horror classic.

2025 中秋節快樂 / Happy Mid-Autumn Festival 2025
今年終於跟上現代,買了冰淇淋月餅🥮
不過也因為這個好小顆,現在人老了甜品不能吃太多
和數學老師分著吃才不會有愧疚感
Mid-Autumn Festival 15 August per lunar calendar fell on 06 October in 2025. I finally caught up with the modern time and bought ice cream moon cakes. It was also because these were small. Can't have too much sugar now that I'm getting old. Sharing these with Math Teacher reduced guilty conscious.

Trader Joe's Gluten Free Organic Rolled Oats with Ancient Grains and Seeds
This oatmeal included amaranth, quinoa, chia seeds, and ground flax seeds. Usually half of cups of oatmeal was not filling for me as lunch, but this one did. It included so many other delicious and nutritional items, and no added sugar. I like savory oatmeal more than sweet oatmeal. This one was delicious with a little bit salt, pepper and sriracha!

Trader Joe’s Olive & Herbs Mixed Nuts
This was flavorful, delicious and filling. Healthy, too. I’m not complaining about the small pieces of olives, but some people might not like it.

Trader Joe’s mini Spicy Pumpkin Samosas
I couldn't tell this was pumpkin flavor. It tasted like the regular samosas. Still crunchy. It sure was spicy. It was best eaten hot right out of oven.

The Munsters (2022)
At one hour 49 minutes, the movie felt too long. The jokes were flat. The characters were likable but I didn’t feel connected to them. Maybe if I had watched the original TV show, I’d appreciate the movie more.

Dracula (1992)
The good parts of this movie came from Bram Stoker's Dracula. The bad parts of the movie came from the moviemaker.
Then Dracula cried when he heard Mina got married. Eyeliner and white powder dripped from his face. Yuck! Dracula was pale from lack of sunlight, not from cosmetics!
That led into my main complaint. I disliked them turning Dracula into a lovelorn sick boy. Dracula liked beautiful women. That was it. He was not in love with Mina.
Mina was not in love with Dracula, either. She was a good friend and a faithful wife. This was why Mina was such a badass in the book, not for being Dracula's wife.
I'd rather them calling this another vampire movie, not Bram Stoker's Dracula. None of the people that made this movie obviously read the actual book.

The Blob (1958)
This was not horror. This was sci-fi. It was refreshing to see everyone made rational decision about things they could not explain.
At 86 minutes, I still kind of got bored in the middle when they were trying to figure out The Blob. This showed I could not watch old-timey movies.
The Blob is due for a reboot or a sequel. The ending basically told us to do it. They couldn’t kill The Blob so they dropped it off at the Arctic. Now ice is melting, what happens to The Blob?
Hollywood, call me!

The Man from Toronto (2022)
An amusing movie. Not hilarious haha. The plot was predictable. It was a good enough movie to watch on DVD on a weekend night. Some scenes could be cut because it felt long at one hour fifty minutes.

Siberia (2018)
Movie Studio: Mr. Keanu Reeves, do you want to be in a movie where you dress like John Wick, talk like John Wick, pose like John Wick, sit like John Wick, stand like John Wick, walk like John Wick, minus the running and fighting and falling? You also have four sex scenes with a beautiful woman.
Keanu Reeves: I can do nothing while getting paid? Of course!
For a movie titled “Siberia,” half of it was in St. Petersburg. The McGuffin was a missing blue diamond, but for one hour, no one was talking about it and searching for it.
Math Teacher gave up halfway through. At the end Keanu Reeves died from ONE gunshot. Math Teacher was happy that he didn’t waste time watching this movie.
